The Sussex County Library System is pleased to announce a new series of art appreciation program for kids in first grade and above. Meet the Masters Art Program introduces children to a new artist each month.

Participants will view famous works, discuss the unique techniques used to create them, and then try those techniques to make their own masterworks.

Meet the Masters will be held at Dennis Branch in Newton on Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m., Sussex-Wantage Branch in Wantage on Sept. 20 at 4:30 p.m., Louise Childs Branch in Stanhope on September 21 at 4 p.m., and Main Library in Frankford on Sept. 23 at noon. The master for September is renowned glass sculptor Dale Chihuly

Space is limited to 15 children at each location. Registration is online through the Events link at sussexcountylibrary.org or by calling or visiting your local Branch.
