Tricky tray planned at Pope John

Pope John XXIII Middle School and Reverend George A. Brown Elementary School announced their first annual Pot O’ Gold Tricky Tray taking place Saturday, March 10 at 6 p.m. at Pope John XXIII Regional High School, 28 Andover Road, Sparta.

“We’re excited to launch this great school fundraiser,” stated event co-chairperson Shannon Gunther. “It’s a wonderful way to meet new friends and have fun with old friends while winning fantastic prizes!”

Event co-chairperson Rita Giacchi added, “Prizes continue to pour in! Right now, top prizes include: one week at a Wildwood Crest condo (valued at $1,700.); a Playstation 4; a Michael Kors purse and wallet; and a Kate Spade purse and wallet.”

The evening kicks off at 6 PM with prize calling beginning at 7:30 p.m. Admission for adults is $10/person which includes 1 sheet of Blue Level tickets (prizes valued up to $100. (Additional prize level tickets will be available for purchase at the event.) An advance ticket package valued at $75. may be purchased until Feb. 23 for $50. Non-alcoholic beverages will be sold, but guests may also bring their own food and beverages. Tables of 8 may be reserved when paid in full on one order form and will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parties of less than 8 will be seated with other attendees. Limited seats are available, and the deadline for ticket purchase is Feb. 23, checks only. Event co-chairperson Lori Davina closed with, “Ticket purchases help offset rising costs of our children’s education. Every ticket sale helps! We welcome everyone in the community to come support our wonderful schools.”
